Day of Rescue

今年のスポーツプロジェクトのテーマは「Rescue for Life」です。チーム発表やTシャツデザインなどで校内は毎日盛り上がっています。キックオフイベント「Day of Rescue」では、消防や防災に関わる方々をお招きし、救助活動や安全を守るための道具について学びました。子どもたちはさまざまな体験活動に積極的に参加し、救助用具を実際に身につけたり、「防災バッグにはどんな物が入っていますか？」など多くの質問をしたりしながら、目を輝かせて学んでいました。

The school has been buzzing with excitement for the upcoming Sports Project, which is themed around the concept of “Rescue for Life” this year. To kick off the festivities, our school held a “Day of Rescue” event, welcoming guests from public safety and disaster response organizations to share the rescue work and safety equipment used to protect communities across Japan. The students participated eagerly, volunteering for activities, trying on the rescue gear, and asking very thoughtful questions such as “What kinds of items are in a disaster bag? What do they do?” Their curiosity and enthusiasm made the event both meaningful and memorable.
